When using the new axle for the first time, it is not necessary to remove the wheel to add lubricant. Under normal usage conditions for a lift trailer, the lubricant on the bearing only needs to be replaced after one year or 150,000 km. However, if the container side lifter operates under harsh conditions, it’s important to increase the frequency of adding lubricants and shorten the maintenance cycle. If the trailer lifter is not used for an extended period, the axle should be adjusted, and lubricating oil should be added before driving again.
